Supremacy
UPRIGHT: war, abuse, injustice
REVERSED: patriotism, nationalism
THE STORY: There are no good readings for the Supremacy card. It was also the most difficult to draw and name, and the last one to be finished. Conceived initially as the ”war” card, it was then called ”control”, but it never seemed to achieve the desired results in focus groups (…a very pretentious way of saying ”the message was not clear enough”). While senseless violence and the fight for dominance was always been a part in human history, its re-emergence in Europe (in the context of 2022 Russia’s attack of Ukraine) provided a sobering experience in the context of the ”Visions of Tomorrow” project.
